Nursery
The nursery at Harris Primary Academy Croydon is an Early Years provision with warm and welcoming staff. Our staff are a dedicated team of individuals who work together in a professional manner to promote a wide and varied Early Years Provision.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff offer the children learning through play based experiences, under the areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. This contributes to the development of the ‘whole child’ as our aim is to enable all our children to have fun and foster a love for learning. We welcome your involvement in your child’s learning and development and hold regular open mornings so you can be involved in your child's learning and talk to staff.
At Harris Primary Croydon, we are proud of the unique provision we are able to offer our families. All 3 year old children are entitled to 15 hours of free child care – equivalent to 5 x 3 hour sessions each week and our Nursery sessions are 8.30am-11.45am daily.
From September 2024, our Nursery will expand to full time. Parents have the option to use either their entitled 15 or 30 hours of free child care or pay for additional provision. The full time session below includes a 40 minute chargeable lunch session.
Morning session | 8:40am-11:40am Monday-Friday |
Afternoon session | 12:20pm-3:20pm Monday-Friday |
Fulltime | 8:40am-3:20pm Monday-Friday |
The deadline to apply for our Nursery for September 2024 has now passed. We will provide information on how to apply for an in-year admissions place or a delayed start to Nursery in due course.
