Our Ethos

Whatever a child’s background or starting point, we want to make sure that they leave us with the academic knowledge and social skills necessary to succeed.

We also want them to feel safe, happy, valued and supported when they come to our school. We treat everybody with respect and all adults in the academy are responsible for modelling high standards in their dealings with children, parents and carers and other members of staff.

All children are treated fairly and we acknowledge individual needs. We expect all our children to work to the best of their abilities and to allow others to do the same. Our 'Golden Rules' underpin our academy ethos:

  • Show Respect
  • Take Responsibility
  • Always Make the Right Choice
